Pakistan's electricity billing runs through twelve companies: eleven WAPDA DISCOs on the central PITC system, plus K-Electric on its own Karachi platform. Every one of them shows your current bill online, free, in under a minute.
This pillar is the single index for all twelve. Each row below links to the company hub (the checker) and to the full duplicate-bill guide for that company. The method is the same everywhere: pick the company, enter the right number, read the official page.
Our bill checker routes you to the correct official portal automatically, so you never type a portal address by hand.
Bookmark this page for the fastest bill check online — every online bill check below opens the official portal directly, so the electricity bill you see is the one the company billed.
How to check any electricity bill online in Pakistan
First, find your company on the bill's header or in the table below. Second, copy the right number: the 14-digit reference for WAPDA DISCOs, the 10-digit consumer number as backup, or the 13-digit account number for K-Electric. Third, open the company through the checker and let it hand you the official page. Fourth, verify name and month, then save the PDF.
No login, no fee, no app. The official page works in any phone browser at any hour.
All 12 companies: region, number and guides
Match your city to the company, then follow either link. The hub checks your live bill; the duplicate guide walks through the paper-less copy step by step.

The three numbers that open every bill
The 14-digit reference number
The master key for all eleven PITC DISCOs. It sits in the Ref No box near your name and address, and every bank or wallet payment stores it on the receipt too.
The 10-digit consumer number
The backup key on the PITC portal's second field. It resolves the same account when the reference number is missing.
The 13-digit account number
K-Electric's only key. KE does not use the WAPDA reference format, so never force one format into the other system. The explainer on reference number vs customer ID covers the pair in depth.
Check any bill in five steps
- Open the checker and pick your company. It opens the official portal in a new tab. Check the address bar before typing anything.
- Enter the number for your company. Fourteen digits for WAPDA DISCOs, thirteen for K-Electric. Digits only, no dashes.
- Confirm the consumer name and month. A wrong number usually opens someone else's bill or nothing at all — the name check catches both.
- Read units, slabs and the due date. The twelve-month history underneath exposes wrong readings early.
- Save the PDF, then pay. Name the file with the month. Wallets and bank apps take the same number.
Bill not found? The six universal fixes
Almost every failed lookup is one of six causes: the bill is not posted yet; it was issued as average; a detection bill replaced it; the number is stale after a meter change; the portal is busy near due dates; or the account itself is stuck. The full walkthrough with company fixes lives in the bill-not-found guide, and the paid-but-unpaid scare is covered in the status guide.
Paying after the check
Bank counters, ATMs, banking apps, JazzCash and Easypaisa all accept the reference or account number. Print the full page for counters so the barcode strip survives. The paid mark can take 24 to 48 hours; keep the receipt beside the PDF. Our payment guide compares every channel's timing.
Safety warnings worth repeating
Use only the official portals the checker opens — bill.pitc.com.pk for the eleven DISCOs and ke.com.pk for Karachi. Every other bill site is a forwarder at best. The bill system never asks for a card number, OTP or wallet PIN; a page that does is not the bill system. For complaints use 118 or the CCMS portal, and keep stamped receipts for every office submission.
The one-minute checklist
- Company matched to your city
- Right number format counted (14 / 10 / 13)
- Consumer name and month verified on screen
- PDF saved with the month in the file name
- Payment made before the due date
- Receipt filed beside the PDF
Frequently asked questions
Which power company am I under?
Match your city in the table above. If it still disagrees, read the company line printed on any old bill — it is the source of truth, especially in Hazara where HAZECO took over from PESCO in 2023.
Is checking my bill online free?
Yes. Every official portal shows the current bill free, with no login and no account. Ignore any site that charges a fee.
Can I check a bill by CNIC or name?
No. The public portals accept only the reference, consumer or account number. CNIC-based service exists only at the company office with the account holder present.
Why does K-Electric need a different number?
KE runs its own billing system for Karachi, with a 13-digit account number instead of the WAPDA 14-digit reference. The checker routes KE to ke.com.pk automatically.
I paid but the bill still shows unpaid. Why?
The paid mark takes 24 to 48 hours on every platform. Keep the receipt and recheck tomorrow before complaining.
What is a duplicate bill?
The official re-print of the same month's bill, used when the paper copy is lost or faded. Each company row above links to its full duplicate guide.
Is BijleeBill.pk an official service?
No. It is an independent convenience layer that hands you the official portals; your number goes straight to bill.pitc.com.pk or ke.com.pk and saved numbers stay in your browser.
Final step
Pick your company, open the official page through the checker, and save this month's copy before you pay. One minute now saves an hour at a counter later.
